How do I change my password? |
|
|
First, you must launch the system using the "admin" password. After launching, choose "Change password" from the "file" menu (at the left side of the menu bar) in each one of the eight databases that make up the system. You can find each of the databases listed under the "Window" menu, at the right side of the menu bar. You may or may not see the ".iid" suffix or extension in the database names.
The eight database names are:
iep.iid goals.iid services.iid custfrms.iid grphlns.iid navigate.iid stndrds.iid
If you can't see all the database names under the "Window" menu, try going to that database. For example, if you can't see the "iep.iid" database, go to a student IEP, and the "iep.iid" database should be at the top of the list. If you can't see the "goals.iid" database, go to a student goal. The "graphlns.iid" database should be visible in the list if you go to a goal that is in graph format. If you do not change the password in one or more of the databases, the old password will remain. If not all the databases have the same password, you will be asked to put in a password for the database(s) with a different password than the one you used to launch the system every time the system is launched. Some of the databases may not be opened until they are needed, so it is possible that you may be asked for a password in the middle of working on an IEP, when that database is needed and the system opens it. This is most likely to happen with the "graphlns" database. |
