Changing options in the print dialog box:
There is no print setup permanently programmed for the student list, which means you are able to set your own. Once you do so, the FileMaker IEP system will probably remember the print setup you chose, and will use it the next time. If not, you'll need to do this whenever you print a student list:
After the list of students is displayed, and you click the "continue" button, the print dialog box will come up. In it, there will be at least three options at the bottom of the dialog box, to the right of the word "Print". Each option has a radio button in front of it. Click the top one, to print "records being browsed".
If only one student name has been printing, what you will probably see selected when the box first comes up is to print the "current record", which is why only one student name/record is being printed, rather than the entire list. This is the option that is used for printing a single envelope; if you print an envelope before printing a student list again, the print setup may revert to printing only the current record, in which case printing "records being browsed" will need to be re-selected to print a list of names rather than just the first name on the list.
Print setup can vary quite a bit across computers and from Macintosh to Windows, so we sometimes don't program these in too tightly, in order to allow users to make changes when needed.
